Q. What type of franchises are available?

 A.    Individual franchises as well as multi-unit franchises are available. In addition, Area Developer

        Partnerships are available for highly qualified individuals.


Q. What is the cost of a franchise?

 A.   The franchise fee is $45,000 for a single unit. Multi-unit franchise fees are $45,000 for the first and $30,000 for each additional                       agreement.


Q. What is the royalty charge for continuing support?

 A.   The continuing fee is 6% of gross receipts, excluding sales tax.


Q. Is there an advertising fee?

 A.   Yes. The National Marketing and Advertising Fee is 1.5% of gross sales, excluding sales tax.


Q. What types of locations does IWC look for?

 A.   Locations are generally 4,000 to 8,000 square feet; however, sizes may vary. We look for locations in highly-populated areas

        with good visibility, easy accessibility and high traffic count.


Q. Will I receive help in selecting my location?

 A.   Yes. We will do a corporate site analysis to help determine the viability of each potential location.


Q. Do I receive training by Island Wing Company corporate?

 A.   Yes. We will train you in the operations and marketing of your business. As part of the curriculum, we also train you in general    

        business management. We have a comprehensive training program that includes 8-10 weeks of hands-on training at a designated           location, as well as onsite at your location.


Q. How long does it take to open an Island Wing Company franchise?

 A.   Once we have identified a site and you have a signed lease, it typically takes about 180-360 days before you open the doors for                     business.

        you with a short IWC Confidential Prequalification Application. This does not obligate you to Island Wing Company in any way but

        it does  allow us to determine your qualification status and financial needs. Upon receipt and review of this information, we will
